Serve at Altona Connect
Serving is one of the ways we grow in faith. When we use our gifts to help others, we experience the joy of being part of what God is doing in our church and community. At Altona Connect, everyone has a place to serve. Some welcome people at the door, some help with children, others serve through music, prayer, tech, or practical support. As we serve together, friendships grow and our faith deepens.
Ways to Serve
Prayer and Care Team
Provide snacks on Sundays, pray for our church and neighbourhood, or offer meals and help during the week.
Behind the Scenes
Support our gatherings through welcoming, setup, building care, counting, or finance tasks.
Worship and Sound
Use your musical or technical gifts to help lead our church in praise. Serve on Sunday mornings through music, vocals, or sound support.
Children and Youth
Teach, assist, or support our kids and teens as they grow in faith. Serve on Sunday mornings or help lead our youth gatherings and invest in the next generation.

We love seeing children use their gifts, help others, and learn what it means to follow Jesus in everyday ways. There’s always a simple, kid-friendly place to jump in.
Kids currently serve on our: worship team, welcome team, set up team, praise dance team (fully kids!), Scripture reading.
