All volunteers who serve with our children and youth complete a screening and training process. Thank you for your willingness to serve. Please complete the application below to begin.
Altona Connect Kids
At Altona Connect Kids, we want children to know Jesus personally and grow in their faith. Each week they explore the Bible through clear teaching, age-appropriate groups, and hands-on activities that help them understand and live out what they learn.
We offer an open nursery (ages 0–3), AC Kids JR (Kindergarten–Grade 2), AC Kids SR (Grade 3–8), and youth.
Kids are an important part of our church family, and we love seeing them build friendships, grow in their faith, and begin serving in the life of the church as they discover their gifts.
Kids Registration
Please register your children and youth. It helps us get to better serve your family. Thanks for filling out the form completely.
Nursery
For families with little ones, we have a nursery available that you’re welcome to use before, during, or after the service. It’s a bright, spacious room with lots of natural light, plenty of toys, a colouring table, a cozy book nook, a train table, and a child-sized bathroom. Parents can also listen to the service from the nursery.
This is an open nursery, so there are no scheduled leaders in the room. Parents stay with their children and can come and go as they feel comfortable. Families are always welcome in the main service as well, and many move between the service and the nursery as needed.
Kids Ministry Volunteers
Keeping Our Children Safe
We are committed to providing a safe and trusted environment for every child and vulnerable person in our care.
As part of the Church of the Nazarene, we follow NazSafe, our denomination’s required child protection standard. This means our pastors, staff, and volunteers are trained and screened, appropriate checks are completed, and clear policies and oversight are in place and reviewed regularly.
NazSafe reflects our commitment to care for our children and youth with integrity and accountability.
